October First Enterprises was founded in 2019 by three working electrical contractors and a software engineer who'd grown tired of fragmented digital tooling — drawings in one place, BOQs in another, code reference behind a paywall on a third site, and project management on a generic SaaS that didn't understand electrical contracting workflow. We built a unified toolkit calibrated to how electrical firms actually work.
How we built the toolkit
Every template, drawing, and reference document in the toolkit has been tested on working projects by our founding contractors and our network of partner firms. Drawing templates are reviewed annually by working electrical designers; code reference is updated quarterly by our compliance partners; BOQ templates are calibrated using regional pricing data refreshed quarterly.
How we serve firms
Individual contractor passes for solo practitioners, multi-user licenses for firms with up to ten users, and enterprise deployments for larger firms. We also provide tailored training engagements, custom drawing template development, and BOQ template adaptation for firms with unusual project mixes. The toolkit scales from one practitioner to mid-sized firm operations.
